O Praise Him - Round 2

admin | March 26, 2008

After some awesome feedback from the guys at Bwack’s Forums, I:

  • added little filtering to the Hi-Hats
  • dropped the cheeso wind
  • added a reversed electric guitar sample (playing an ‘A’) at the end of the tune.

Came out pretty cool.

O Praise Him Intro

admin | March 20, 2008

First shot at an extended intro to DCB’s “O Praise Him”.

We’re doing this for Easter Sunday and starting the song during our Greeting while everyone is shaking hands showing off Easter Bonnets…

Comments and ideas appreciated, and yeah, the wind thing at the end is cheesy.

Leave a comment if you want to Live 7 file and I’ll throw it out there…

Facedown

admin | March 5, 2008

Thanks for stopping by. This is the first set that left my basement, so feedback is appreciated.

Some notes:

- Key is in Bb, BPM is 78.00. If playing guitar, Capo 6 and play in C (lead sheet here)

- Except for the extra 2-bar pad at bars 3 and 4 in the Intro, everything follows recorded version

- If you sequence the individual WAVs, you’ll miss out on a Cymbal crash between a few of the tracks - use the full song for best effect

- The Live file uses Electric and EIC2, so without those, it’s gonna sound awful sparse in Live. Complete song is sequenced in Arrangement View.
